We are currently working on validity instruments (Alpha 1 and Alpha 2) as part of an effort to assess spiritual maturity. Part of this process includes asking qualified subject experts to determine how each item weighs on a particular scale. There is no right or wrong answer at this juncture, so we are asking you to use your informed judgment to assess which of the scales given would best be measured by the item given. We will show one item along with a list of possible scales. Please choose the scale that best corresponds to each item. We will include the definitions at the bottom of each page as a reminder. The Alpha 1 instrument contains 14 scales with 147 items, and Alpha 2 includes 12 scales with 136 items. Each will take you 30-45 minutes to complete. Here are the scales and definitions for each:
